Viva la Diva

There is not one television channel that will not jump on the opportunity to shoot a programme in the Diva, the hottest dragqueens club around.

There is not one television channel that will not jump on the opportunity to shoot a programme in the Diva, the hottest dragqueens club around. From politics to television presenter. And that as if, anthropological view on the dragqweens culture, we got a pick in the hottest place in the Middleast.
If up to now we thought of the Diva as the most grand and daring that could be, came Rami Gothalf (Rima Riming), the Artistic Producer and a Stand-Up Comedian in the Diva reveals that next week there will be some major changes to the place.
The new Diva Club will open on the Ha-Rakevet Street in Tel Aviv and it will be bigger and more invested then the previous one. “There will be a huge stage with a new concept of shows that some of them will have video clips, an amazing bar that has spotlights and a new menu for snacks and full meals” he says.
The drag staff, that include high-tec people, insurance brokers and bankers that work as singers at night in the club, will all move to the new location.
If we are already having an intimate conversation I need to understand: Is it not a double life working in the Bank in the morning and in the evening as Dragqueens?
“No it is not a double life, but having two jobs, although its clear that most of us prefer to work in the club, the stage, the acting. You know, to me at least, working in the club charms more. And if we are on the subject I would like to tell about the special Diva nights that will start on the 22nd of October, every Saturday night and will include a known Israeli singer as a guest whom will be sitting in the audience while others perform their songs. All money from the enterance fees will go to cancer research charity as its not only about pleasing our customers but contributing to society”
The opening party of the new Diva will be on Thursday 29th of September and it’s open to the public.
