The Mediterranean city of Tel Aviv was selected as the ideal location to host the festival, as it is Israel’s largest cosmopolitan center and international haven for tourists and “urban fans” alike.

The festival’s founder and producer, Zev Eizik, is one of Israel’s leading promoters of live musical entertainment and owner of the Hangar 11. “Having brought dozens of major international tours and concerts to Israel, this festival is especially exciting as it evokes the spirit of Tel Aviv,” says Eizik. “Although the main scope of the Festival will focus largely on jazz music, the context of this festival is about bringing an eclectic arrangement of musical genres together, because that’s what Tel Aviv is about – color, personality, rhythm and having a good time”.

The White City Music Festival is officially backed by: The Israel Ministry of Tourism and The Tel Aviv - Yafo Municipality.
