Bonnofait

“With a menu that focuses on luscious croissants, tender pastries, beautiful cakes and a selection of incredible sweets, Bonnofait succeeds at creating mouthwatering and epicurean delights in the best French tradition…” Laura Ajzen indulges in the most authentically French pastries this side of the Siene.

Pasty chef and Bonnofait restaurant owner Nurit Ran knows that the key to a person’s heart is through their stomach. With a menu that focuses on luscious croissants, tender pastries, beautiful cakes and a selection of incredible sweets, Bonnofait succeeds at creating mouthwatering and epicurean delights in the best French tradition.

Nurit’s knowledge of French gastronomy is not merely inherited, but results from having studied the art of patisserie in Lyon, France for three years. Combining her extensive gastronomy experience and infatuation with food, Nurit creates ‘food for seduction’. A house specialty – buttery and flaky croissants, both plain and filled with chocolate, almond or raisin. Also the cakes and pies are simply irresistible and authentically French.

Apart from its baked delights, Bonnofait also offers a variety of quiches, salads, sandwiches, pastas and many other dishes. All food is freshly prepared on site – including the ever-popular cakes and pies, not to mention the renowned croissants. An assortment of natural juices, flavored coffee and tea compliments the food.

Located in Kfar Ruth, Bonnofait touts itself as a warm, cozy and immaculate neighborhood restaurant. Plenty of regulars, but also newbies come for the relaxed atmosphere and dive into the fresh and kosher dishes. There is seating both indoors and out. The spacious outdoor terrace has a wooden deck with a great view of the fields of Kfar Ruth.

The name of the restaurant is not just chosen randomly, but derives from the combination of Nurit’s two French teachers. As if that were not reason enough for the title of the restaurant, Bonnofait also means ‘let’s bake’ (bo na’afeh) in Hebrew and ‘well done’ in French.

Bonnofait is not just a patisserie/restaurant, but also arranges parties or special events for up to 150 people. From decorating the place to preparing food, Nurit and her team take care of everything so that you can just sit back, relax and enjoy it.
