A Complete Meal

In Algonquin restaurant located in Moshav Bnayah, customers are offered 2 deals for a complete meal, rich and full, and available during all hours of operation. The idea: to free the patron of burdening financial thoughts, and to focus him on the joys of dining – simple yet brilliant.

The term “business special” usually refers to a meal served during certain hours, usually lunchtime, and offering a deal which combines an entr?e with a side item of one kind or another, as well as some house bread, a first course, and dessert. The idea is usually to draw in the lunchtime crows, the office workers in the area, and offer them an attractive deal on a meal, while at the same time upping the midday revenues of the restaurant, before the busier evening hours in which the menu can easily be offered at a full price.

Algonquin, a romantic French restaurant in Moshav Bnayah, works against this concept. The restaurant is located in a beautiful architectural structure of Canadian-style, and the d?cor is romantic, intimate, and elegant. Algonquin offers two deals to her customers, valid during all hours of operations. “This is not a business special,” emphasizes Zvika, the owner of the restaurant. “This is something that is not so common in Israel – a deal for a complete meal. This is an intimate meal, designed to free the diner of monetary thoughts: he knows the entire price beforehand, and is there to simply enjoy himself, even more so if it is a special occasion.”

Algonquin offers 2 menus, each for a full meal: the Dinner in the Country Menu, at 155 NIS per person, and the Algonquin Menu, at 135 NIS per person. Both menus includes focaccia bread, butter, and tapenade spread; a salad of lettuce, roquette, spinach, fruit, almonds, in the house dressing; an entr?e of choice with two vegetables of choice; and a warm beverage and a dessert. The Dinner in the Country Menu offers the diner a first course of choice, whereas the Algonquin menu will send six types of antipasti to your table. In both menus, a palate-refreshing granita is served between the first course and the entr?e. It is important to emphasize that you are not committed to the menu as a whole, and you can order only parts of it if you wish.
